PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Clayton County, Georgia, Police Department has Firearms Available for Public Release. The firearms listed are being maintained for safekeeping or were evidence that is no longer needed for investigative or court purposes. The list of firearms may be accessed and viewed by clicking here. If you believe that any of the listed firearms belong to you, contact Clayton County Police Department Evidence & Property Unit at 770-477-3535, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Proof of ownership must be confirmed before any firearm may be released. This is not a sale of firearms.
The list of firearms will be posted beginning May 15 through June 19, 2024. Once the list is removed from public posting, the firearms will be disposed by action of a court order. Once disposed, the firearms will no longer be available for public release.
