The mission of the Community Affairs Unit is to serve the citizens of Clayton County in the most professional manner possible while building positive relationships and strengthening the bond between the police and the community.

What is Neighborhood Watch?

  • The purpose of the Explorer Program is to provide youths and young adults who may be interested in a career in law enforcement with a comprehensive program of training, competition, community service and practical exercises. The overall goal of the Clayton County Police Department Explorer Program works towards character development, life skills, physical fitness and patriotism.
