Major Vance Donald

Commanded by Major Vance Donald, a 30 year veteran of the Clayton County Police Department, the Narcotics Division is responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal narcotics laws in Clayton County.

The Narcotics Division task force conducts investigations of medium to high-level drug trafficking enterprises and is comprised of officers from the Clayton County Police Departement, City of Forest Park Police Department and the City of Jonesboro Police Department.

The task force also conducts major long-term narcotics investigations, often times involving the use of wiretaps and other means of covert surveillance as well as investigations concerning the importation and transportation of narcotics and narcotics tainted currency through the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Since 2001 the Clayton County Narcotics Division along with the Special Operations Unit have seized more than $3.6 million dollars in assets from narcotics related investigations.
