The
Clayton County Police Department's Honor Guard was created to
represent the department's presence at ceremonies, including officer
funerals throughout the state. Officers selected for the Honor
Guard detail wear distinctive uniforms and display a model of
professionalism representative of the Clayton County Police Department.
In 2001, the Clayton County Police Department's Honor Guard was
host to the Law Enforcement Memorial Services at the Georgia Public
Safety Training Center in Forsyth, Georgia. The Clayton County
Police Department Honor Guard recently received new uniforms and
their first uniform inspection was conducted on December 3, 2007.
